Interactive

Interactive is a German electronic music act that gained recognition in the early 1990s for their energetic, techno-infused sound and club-friendly productions. Formed by producers Andreas Schneider and Ramon Zenker, the group became a fixture of the European dance scene during a time when techno and trance were crossing into mainstream popularity.

Interactive broke through with the track “Who Is Elvis” in 1991, a pounding techno anthem built around a playful sample and relentless rhythm. The song quickly became a club staple and laid the foundation for their signature style: driving beats, bold synth lines, and minimal but memorable hooks.

In 1994, the group released a high-tempo cover of “Forever Young” (originally by Alphaville), which became their most successful single, charting across Europe and reaching the Top 10 in Germany. This version helped introduce the classic ballad to a new generation through a dancefloor lens.

Interactive released two full-length albums—Intercollection (1992) and Touché (1995)—featuring tracks like “Dildo” and “Living Without Your Love,” both of which showcased their versatility within the electronic genre.

With a distinct blend of techno, trance, and Eurodance, Interactive remains a respected name from the golden era of 1990s club music.
