Beverly

Beverly was a Eurodance project that surfaced in the early 1990s, delivering a bold and high-energy sound that captured the spirit of the era. The act gained attention in 1993 with their powerful cover of “The Power of Love,” transforming the classic ballad into a pulsing dancefloor anthem. With its driving beat, soaring synth lines, and vibrant vocal delivery, Beverly’s version quickly became a favorite in clubs and dance compilations across Europe.

Released in multiple formats, including a Radio Edit and an Extended Mix, “The Power of Love” captured the essence of Eurodance: emotionally charged vocals wrapped in euphoric, synth-heavy production. It stood alongside the best of early 90s dance covers that reimagined well-known hits for the club generation.

Though Beverly’s discography remains limited and little is known about the identities behind the project, their music holds lasting value among Eurodance fans and collectors. Their take on “The Power of Love” remains a standout example of how 90s dance music turned heartfelt ballads into anthemic celebrations of rhythm and emotion.

Today, Beverly is remembered as one of the many one-shot Eurodance acts whose music continues to light up nostalgic playlists and retro dancefloors around the world.
