Razzia Project is an electronic music act best known for the 1999 single “Droid,” a track that reflects the club-focused energy of late-1990s European dance music. Released as a CD maxi-single, “Droid” features several versions, including the Razzia Radio Edit, Extended Mix, and Club Mix, each offering a variation tailored for different dancefloor settings. With its pulsing beats, crisp synths, and futuristic edge, the track fits squarely within the techno-trance crossover style that defined much of the club music of that era. While little is publicly known about the artists behind Razzia Project, the release gained modest attention within the DJ and vinyl-collector communities. “Droid” has since remained available through platforms like Discogs, YouTube, and iHeartRadio, and continues to circulate among fans of late-'90s underground electronic music. The name Razzia Project is sometimes confused with other similarly titled entities, including the German punk band Razzia and the Swedish independent label Razzia Records, though they are unrelated. Despite limited additional discography or public profile, Razzia Project’s contribution with “Droid” stands as a snapshot of a specific moment in electronic dance history—where vinyl singles, club remixes, and one-off projects helped shape the underground sounds of a pre-digital era.
