Kangaroo was a vibrant Eurodance project from Italy that captured the energy and creativity of the mid-1990s dance music explosion. Produced and arranged by Matahari, Rockwell, and Selenia, the project featured vocals by none other than Annerley Gordon—a defining voice of the Eurodance era, known for her work with acts like Whigfield and Ally & Jo.

Kangaroo made their mark in 1994 with a high-energy dance cover of Rockwell’s “Somebody’s Watching Me,” transforming the 80s pop classic into a pulsing club anthem with a signature Eurobeat flair. Their version stood out for its sharp production, bold synth work, and Gordon’s unmistakable vocals. The following year, they followed up with “Feel So Right,” an original track that cemented Kangaroo’s identity as more than just a cover act. With tracks like “Only Rainy Days,” the group showcased their ability to balance catchy melodies with dancefloor-driven beats.

While Kangaroo’s presence was brief, their releases captured the fun, colorful, and high-energy spirit that defined 90s Eurodance. Today, their music is celebrated by genre enthusiasts and collectors who remember the era for its fearless fusion of pop, dance, and unforgettable vocal hooks.
